Senior Analyst / Associate M&A (m/w/d)

About the Role

Our client, a prominent international investment bank, is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst / Associate (m/f/d) to join their team immediately.

Responsibilities

• Advise national and international clients on Buy- and Sell-Side M&A transactions, public takeovers, and capital markets and financing topics.
• Collaborate directly with C-level decision-makers, founders, and Investment Committees.
• Develop and manage financial models, company valuations, and market analyses.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, decision memos, and due diligence documents for senior stakeholders.
• Actively support the origination and execution of live transactions across various sectors.
• Participate in client meetings, management calls, and site visits.
• Work closely with senior bankers while taking visible responsibility for your own workstreams.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, Corporate Finance Advisory, Private Equity, Transaction Services, or Leveraged Finance.
• A strong academic record in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a solid understanding of financial contexts.
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
• High self-motivation, team spirit, and the ability to navigate a dynamic, performance-oriented environment with confidence.
