Manager, Music Publishing Operations

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate a smooth and scalable onboarding experience for music publishing partners onto Spotify’s rights management systems.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve partner inquiries concerning rights data, claims, and platform functionality.
• Manage conflict resolution workflows, ensuring accurate rights data alignment and supporting efficient dispute resolution among rights holders.
• Maintain and enhance operational processes within our partner-facing tools, including onboarding, issue resolution, and feature deployment.
• Monitor and support third-party data transfers to ensure reliable and consistent operations.
• Oversee licensor and market configurations, guaranteeing accurate setup, governance, and ongoing compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process, documentation, and tool improvements to elevate partner experiences and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Licensing, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to support global music publishing operations.

Who You Are

• Experienced in music publishing, rights management, licensing operations, or a related field.
• Proven success in onboarding external partners and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships across diverse markets.
• Technically adept at navigating systems, investigating data and workflow issues, and devising practical solutions.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Skilled communicator, adept at conveying information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Thrives in collaborative, cross-functional settings, enjoying the challenge of solving complex operational issues with teams.
• Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Where You’ll Be

• This role is based in New York, NY or London, UK.
• We offer flexibility with a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-office collaboration and remote work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range (US): $125,883 - $179,833 USD, plus equity.
• Benefits: Health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, and 13 paid flexible holidays.
• Note: This range may encompass multiple levels, with final placement determined by relevant experience and interview performance. Salary ranges are subject to future modification.
