Business Analyst (m/w/d) Cyber Security & Compliance

About the Role

As a Business Analyst (m/f/d) in Cyber Security & Compliance, your role goes beyond mere consulting; it's about making a tangible impact on business and society.

What Awaits You

• Consulting for clients in regulated environments within IT compliance, governance, and information security.
• Support in building and developing ISMS according to ISO 27001, bringing structure to complex requirements.
• Analysis of business processes, risks, and regulatory frameworks, deriving concrete measures.
• Developing sustainable security strategies and emergency concepts, and overseeing their implementation in organization and operation.
• Creating policies, processes, and documentation, ensuring their practical applicability.
• Coordinating projects, prioritizing topics, and ensuring results are bindingly managed in a demanding environment.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, Law, or comparable professional experience.
• Professionally relevant experience in client or consulting contexts.
• Understanding of regulatory security (e.g., ISO 27001, BCMS, NIS2, etc.).
• Experience in analyzing and structuring business processes, with an understanding of economic contexts.
• Ability to capture requirements and translate them into actionable concepts, policies, or measures, communicating them appropriately to the audience.
• Experience in project coordination, ideally in agile setups (e.g., Scrum).
• Structured and self-directed work ethic with the drive to advance topics bindingly.
• Fluent German and English language skills for seamless communication.

Nice To Have

• Certifications such as: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor, CISM, or CISSP, ITIL Foundation.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., energy, finance, public sector).
• Experience in project environments (classic or agile).
