Transaction Manager (m/f/d) - Impact Finance

Your Responsibilities:

Area of Responsibility:

A key success factor for financing rounds is building a strong pipeline of social enterprises and impact startups, alongside smooth transaction processes. The Transaction Manager's primary task is building and maintaining a pipeline of social enterprises and impact startups for future collaboration, independently supporting these companies in raising growth capital, and leading the transaction process. This role is situated within Transaction Management, working closely with the Investor Relations Team. Together with Investor Relations, you will coordinate project-specific investor outreach and engage impact-oriented investors, with whom you will collaboratively implement financing projects. You will also support the selection and implementation of automation tools and artificial intelligence in your work area.

Tasks:

  • Building a pipeline of social enterprises and impact startups and maintaining it in our CRM system.
  • Reviewing pitch decks and financial plans of social enterprises and impact startups as part of our search and selection process.
  • Conducting initial and deep-dive conversations with impact startups and social enterprises, assessing their business models and their social and ecological added value.
  • Managing the transaction process for financing rounds of social enterprises and impact startups (including structuring, coaching in preparing investor documents, investor outreach, management presentations, contract negotiations).
  • Moderating investor discussions during financing rounds.
  • Preparing and independently conducting workshops and webinars with social enterprises and impact startups.
  • Supporting the implementation of automation tools and artificial intelligence across the entire pipeline and transaction process.

Your Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Venture Capital, Impact Investing, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, Company Founding, or supporting social/ecological organizations.
  • Existing knowledge and experience with (Impact) startups and their financing.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and high confidence in presentations.
  • Experience in project management, a strong focus on execution, and a structured way of working.
  • Affinity for and ideally experience with automation tools and artificial intelligence.
  • Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Professional proficiency with standard MS Office applications.
  • High commitment, team orientation, and intrinsic motivation for social and ecological solutions.
  • Flexibility regarding business travel within Germany.
