Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a crucial frontline role in our customer experience, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to drive strategic growth. You will generate and qualify sales opportunities through inbound lead response and outbound prospecting, laying the groundwork for a successful career in sales, business development, or marketing.

What You’ll Do:
- Qualify inbound sales leads based on defined criteria.
- Utilize phone, email, and social networking to connect with prospects, identify needs, and qualify interest.
- Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives with qualified leads.
- Leverage sales and marketing tools (e.g., SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, Pardot) to maximize efficiency.
- Manage contacts and ensure data accuracy within our CRM platform (Salesforce).
- Provide exceptional service and build strong relationships with prospects.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Focus primarily on inbound lead response, with additional outbound prospecting.
What We’re Looking For:

- 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service roles.
- University degree or College diploma in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media tools (LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Preferred location: In or near the Kitchener-Waterloo region for team collaboration.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and Sales Navigator.
- Familiarity with the lead funnel process (generation, follow-up, tracking).
- Prior experience with lead prospecting software or chatbot monitoring.
- Comfort with cold calling.
