The Role

We are currently looking for an Operations Engineer with experience in Downstream Processes:

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of technical investment and optimization projects
• Support of filtration and chromatographic systems for antibody production
• Conducting risk, capacity, and process analyses for plant optimization
• Ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE, and safety standards
• Coordination of qualification, maintenance, and commissioning activities
• Review of technical documentation and support for training and improvement measures

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in process engineering, utility engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Alternatively, further training as an industrial or master craftsman with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in a comparable function, ideally in a regulated environment (e.g., Pharma, Biotech, Food, or Chemical)
• Good technical understanding of mechanical and process engineering
• Proficient in German and English, both written and spoken
• Very good communication and organizational skills
