About the Role

This key position within the IT organization is responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of IT Operations and Security. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the entire IT infrastructure, drive the evolution of the IT architecture, and guarantee compliance with regulatory security standards.

Responsibilities

• Strategic alignment and further development of the IT Operations & Security department in line with company objectives.
• Operational leadership of the entire IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
• Active development of the IT architecture (on-premises and private cloud), continuously incorporating new technologies.
• Planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance, availability, and security.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory security standards and continuous optimization.
• Developing processes for service orientation, user-friendliness, and internationalization.
• Independent execution of IT projects and management of external service providers.
• Targeted professional and disciplinary leadership of the IT infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience in IT Operations, Administration, Infrastructure, or System Technology, preferably in a manufacturing industry company.
• Extensive experience in leading project teams; initial disciplinary leadership experience is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of hybrid IT infrastructures, modern virtualization and network technologies, Windows server environments, IT security, and databases.
• Exceptional strength in the targeted development, planning, and implementation of projects.
• High problem-solving capabilities combined with commitment and a "Can-Do" mentality.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent German language skills, good English, and willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
