Our primary growth engine is direct-response marketing via Meta Ads. The landscape of scaling has shifted; success now hinges not just on one perfect video, but on volume, iteration speed, and the intelligent application of AI.

The Role

We are seeking a Video Editor who can do more than just edit; you will leverage AI as a powerful tool to produce more high-performing creatives in less time. Working closely with Creative Strategists, Copywriters, and Media Buyers, you will craft video creatives designed for scalability. You understand market dynamics, various ad formats (UGC, VSL, Whitelisting, Hooks), and the mechanics of social ads, and you are eager to utilize every tool available to enhance speed and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit high-performing ad videos for Meta Ads (Instagram & Facebook), focusing on UGC-style, whitelisting, and short VSL formats in 4:5, 9:16, and 1:1 aspect ratios.
  • AI as a Multiplier: Utilize generative AI tools (e.g., CapCut, Runway/Kling, HeyGen/Arcads, ElevenLabs, Captions) strategically to produce hook variations, voiceovers, synthetic UGC, B-roll, and subtitles in a fraction of the time, significantly increasing our testing output.
  • Rapid Iteration & Testing: Quickly produce numerous variations of new hooks, editing styles, text changes, and thumbnail tests in a data-driven manner.
  • Close Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Creative Strategist on ideas, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Visual Execution: Implement psychological triggers (text overlays, zooms, sound bites, pattern interrupts) to maximize scroll-stopping impact.
  • Content Selection: Curate content from raw footage provided by creators, influencers, internal recordings, and increasingly, AI-generated material.
  • Creative Library Management: Build and maintain a creative library, ideally with AI-assisted tagging and organization, to facilitate faster iteration.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance existing creatives based on performance data and feedback from Media Buying.

Qualifications

  • Experience in video editing for performance marketing, specifically for social ads (Meta, TikTok experience is a plus). You have a portfolio of ads that have run live and performed well.
  • AI Workflows are Mandatory: You actively use generative video, audio, and avatar tools, or are eager to quickly learn them. You view AI as a tool for multiplying output, not a threat.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects is a plus.
  • A keen sense for tempo, dynamics, timing, and advertising effectiveness, beyond just aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with common DR frameworks: Hook–Problem–Solution, Before–After–Bridge, AIDA, PAS, etc.
  • Self-directed, structured, and fast-paced work style, while maintaining high quality.
  • Test-driven and curious – you want to understand why a video performs (or doesn't).
  • Ideally, experience with supplement or health brands in the D2C context.
