Finance Expert (m/f/d)

PRIME HR Agentur GmbH is seeking, on behalf of an established and economically successful industrial company with an international presence, an experienced Finance Expert (m/f/d). As part of the further development of the finance department, we are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, develops processes, and acts as a competent point of contact within accounting.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory accounting regulations.
• Participation in the consolidation and preparation of financial data at group level.
• Ensuring proper and transparent financial reporting.
• Independent management of selected balance sheet and P&L areas.
• Review and reconciliation of accounts, and monitoring of intra-group business transactions.
• Close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal decision-makers.
• Support with audits and tax and commercial law issues.
• Preparation of business analyses and decision-making bases for management.
• Participation in the preparation of statistics, notifications, and reports.
• Further development of existing processes in finance and accounting.
• Support in digitalization projects and the introduction of efficient workflows.
• Involvement in cross-departmental topics and strategic special projects.

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or a comparable further qualification in the accounting field.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Very good knowledge of preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).
• Experience in a group environment or in dealing with group-wide reporting structures is advantageous.
• Understanding of business interrelationships and an analytical mindset.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and common MS Office applications.
• High affinity for numbers and a meticulous working style.
• Enjoyment of critically questioning existing processes and implementing improvements.
• Independent work combined with team spirit and strong communication skills.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
