Your Role: Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) Network & Security Solutions

We are building our team and looking for a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) Network & Security Solutions to join us full-time at the earliest possible date. Your passion for technical solutions to complex problems and your eagerness to learn, even with experience, make you a perfect fit. You will manage the technical challenges for our clients and work on exciting short- and long-term projects.

Responsibilities (Aufgaben):

• Implementation and administration of IT security solutions, with a focus on the Sophos product portfolio.
• Short- and long-term project work in IT security and networking, such as firewall system migrations.
• Technical customer consulting and support.
• Management of customer systems within the Sophos MSP program.
• Conception, operation, testing, and further development of IT security measures for clients.
• Close collaboration and coordination with various interfaces, as well as internal and external contacts.
• Continuous further training and certification in the field of IT security.

Qualifications (Qualifikation):

• Analytical or technical educational background, e.g., university degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security Management, or vocational training with initial professional experience in IT and IT security.
• Professional experience in information technology and/or IT security.
• Mandatory: Experience with Sophos product portfolio; existing manufacturer certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in administration, usage, and implementation of IT security solutions and network infrastructures.
• Strong analytical skills combined with high problem-solving competence.
• High team spirit, good communication skills with diverse contact persons, and a desire for further development.
• Preferred: Good English language skills (written and spoken) for communication with international colleagues.
