  • Ensure responsible AI principles (transparency, explainability, user trust) are embedded in product experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and domain experts to deliver impactful, credible solutions.
  • Use customer insights and product data to identify unmet needs and prioritize investments.
  • Take responsibility for the “whole” product/solution experience.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert for simulation offerings and AI-assisted design in Fusion.
  • Clearly articulate user problems & solution objectives to guide experience and development teams.
  • Identify and describe target customers, personas, and ecosystem influencers.
  • Develop solution concepts that combine UX, physics, and AI-driven automation.
  • Coordinate aligned efforts of adjacent product managers within product development.
  • Develop and articulate project intent, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Create solution examples and workflow vignettes.
  • Develop core messages describing solution/approach benefits.
  • Evangelize internally and externally at all levels, including sales, development, end users, executives, media & analysts.
  • Plan and initiate market research and market sizing to identify/quantify opportunities.
  • Conduct end-user interviews to uncover customer perceptions, problems, and workflows.
  • Develop long-term strategy, plans, and prioritization to improve customer capabilities, satisfaction, and enhance Autodesk’s credibility.
  • Track and understand business performance across regions and within the context of changing market conditions.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in product management, preferably in design, engineering, or manufacturing software.
  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of product development workflows (consumer products preferred).
  • Strong understanding of AI product principles, including human-in-the-loop design, model evaluation and iteration, trust, explainability, and UX considerations.
  • Familiarity with simulation/CAE as part of the design and validation process.
  • Proven ability to define strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver results.
  • Experience bringing simulation or analysis tools to broader, non-expert audiences.
  • Background in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, data synthesis, and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with cloud, automation, or AI-driven product capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills.
  • Strong project management, planning, and research skills.
