Yuno is the payment orchestrator built for global scale, founded by the team behind Rappi. We connect businesses to over 300 payment methods worldwide through a single integration. We are growing rapidly and seeking engineers to build the infrastructure for global money movement.

The Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Integrations Team. This team is responsible for connecting Yuno’s platform to PSPs, acquirers, payment gateways, fraud, and 3DS providers globally. You will build and maintain core product integrations, working across countries, providers, and complex payment rails in a fast-moving, global environment.

• Actively use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Continuously explore AI-driven automation for development, testing, and operational processes.

Building at Scale

• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices in Go, focusing on reliability, low latency, and scalability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features and integrations, from discovery and design to production rollout and monitoring.
• Build and extend integration frameworks for payment processing, fraud detection, and authentication flows (e.g., 3DS) across multiple regions.

Technical Excellence

• Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code with a focus on quality, observability, and documentation.
• Apply secure software development practices, including OWASP standards, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Embrace an AI-first approach to development, utilizing AI-assisted tools for code generation and automated testing.

Cross-functional Execution

• Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to translate payment problems into technical solutions.
• Deliver in an agile environment with a fast-moving roadmap, adapting to shifting priorities.

What You Bring

The Essentials

• Solid backend engineering experience building high-throughput, production-grade systems in Golang.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles.
• Demonstrated experience with unit testing and Git-based workflows.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar).
• Adaptability to a constantly evolving roadmap and competing priorities.
• Ability to communicate technical problems clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

What Would Make You Stand Out

• Experience in the payments industry or integrating with Payment Service Providers.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and DevOps environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
