Account Executive, Enterprise - DACH

Location: Remote in Germany, with frequent customer on-site visits across the DACH region.

About the Position

As an Account Executive, you will play an essential role in Showpad's growth, sharing the company's success story with organizations worldwide. You'll help clients understand the value Showpad offers to align Sales and Marketing efforts. Your contribution as an Account Executive will be critical for Showpad's accelerated growth and strength.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a true hunter with a strategic and hands-on approach to prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • Proactively implement a defined strategy for your sales approach.
  • Serve as a consultant and advisor, gaining insights into prospect pain points.
  • Demonstrate the value of the Showpad solution, aligning it with prospect goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Reps, Solutions Engineers, Partnerships, and Post-Sales Support to win new logos.
  • Understand the priorities of Senior Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams and align Showpad with their needs.
  • Successfully sell into various lines of business and comfortably engage at the C-level.
  • Sell effectively to all company levels, from end-users to C-suite executives.
  • Negotiate with strong pricing discipline and defend value propositions.
  • Transform prospects into enthusiastic Showpad fans.

Attributes We Are Looking For

  • Native German speaker (essential for selling into the DACH market).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling software into mid-sized to large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to prospect strategic decision-makers and executives.
  • Startup DNA and a proactive mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Passion for life and the Showpad product.
  • Desire for personal, team, and company growth.
  • Commitment to making a maximum impact at Showpad.
  • Enthusiasm for working within an amazing team.
  • Formal sales training (e.g., Value Selling, MEDDICC, SPICED, Challenger) is beneficial.
  • Sales or Marketing Technology sales experience is preferred.
