Energie5, a dynamic subsidiary of Reshape Energy, is driving the energy transition through innovative renewable energy solutions in and on commercial properties. Our focus is on commercial photovoltaic systems and storage solutions. Due to our growth, we are seeking active support for our Operations Team in Cologne.

Your Mission

As a Project Manager / Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational implementation of PV projects in the commercial sector – from planning to commissioning. Simultaneously, you will take on a special central function in building, expanding, and managing our specialist partner network.

Approximately 60% of your role will be in operational project management. About 40% of your capacity will be dedicated to specialist partner management: you will identify suitable installation and implementation partners, build strong relationships, develop standards for collaboration, and ensure our network keeps pace with our growth.

Your Tasks at a Glance

Project Management & Operations

  • Independent management of PV projects – from project planning to handover.
  • Steering and coordination of installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Technical departments, and other internal interfaces.
  • Further development of processes, organizational, and cost structures in a dynamic, scaling environment.

Special Function: Specialist Partner Network – approx. 40% of the role

  • Building, expanding, and maintaining a high-performing specialist partner network for installation, electrical engineering, and other implementation services.
  • Identification, approach, and qualification of new specialist partners.
  • Development of criteria, standards, and processes for partner selection and evaluation, supported by the DC & AC trade specialists.
  • Structured support of existing specialist partners and regular coordination regarding quality, capacities, availability, and collaboration.
  • Support with price, performance, and framework agreements in close coordination with Operations and Management.
  • Building a scalable partner pool that ensures our operational growth in Cologne and beyond.

Qualifications

You already have experience in the operational implementation of PV projects – ideally with a focus on commercial systems. You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and enjoy taking responsibility. Additionally, you enjoy developing external partners, building relationships, and creating structures for professional collaboration.

  • Several years of experience in project or operations management in the field of photovoltaics, ideally in the commercial sector.
  • Sound technical understanding of PV systems.
  • Experience in managing installation teams, subcontractors, or external service providers.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in dealing with specialist partners and suppliers.
  • Structured, practical work style with high initiative.
  • Leadership skills and sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge in planning with tools like PVSOL is a plus.
  • Experience with installation standards, e.g., VDE-AR-N 4110 or VDE-AR-N 4105, is a plus.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
