About Us

We are an independent, non-profit think tank based in political Berlin. Our work focuses on the path towards a climate-friendly society and economy: a just transformation that succeeds. We are driven by the desire to shape the future more progressively. To achieve this, we foster new networks, contribute to knowledge transfer, develop relevant ideas, provide a space for exchange, and share our recommendations for action.

We are convinced that we can achieve all of this much better when we collaborate with people who appreciate, trust, and treat each other well.

You can expect a friendly and motivated team of around 35 employees, as well as other individuals from our voluntary committees. Our welcoming office space is located in Moabit, near Berlin Central Station, but our influence and work extend across Europe and beyond.

We Are Always Looking

We are continuously seeking employees at all levels, sometimes on short notice, who bring the following qualifications:

• Master's degree (or in exceptional cases, a Bachelor's degree) in Social Sciences or related disciplines, along with experience in the (Berlin) political landscape.
• High affinity for the core topics of the Progressive Center and in-depth knowledge in at least two policy fields relevant to the Progressive Center.
• Strong analytical-strategic and editorial skills (excellent German and English language skills are mandatory; a journalistic background is an advantage).
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for political processes.
