With Zell Biogemüse GmbH, we supply the retail sector, organic delivery services, catering, processors, and other organic wholesalers. In addition to our own farm products, we offer organic fruits and vegetables from colleagues – always prioritizing local and regional goods.
We are seeking a Managing Director (m/f/d) for Bio-Regionalhandel Zell Biogemüse GmbH.
You will nurture existing customer and supplier relationships and actively drive growth in the organic regional trade sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Overall Responsibility: Total responsibility for the economic development of the regional trade business, reporting directly to the shareholders.
- Logistics & Sales: Establish efficient logistics and sales channels for the regional market.
- Process Optimization: Optimize processes and develop new ones within our new business premises.
- Team Leadership: Lead the experienced team with empathy and decisiveness.
- Networking: Connect with regional producers, Bioland associations, and major customers.
- Financial Management: Control key performance indicators, manage budget planning, and oversee economic development.
- External Representation: Represent the company externally, acting as the face of the value chain to producers and partners.
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Management, or similar, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid business management knowledge: accounting, controlling, P&L, liquidity management.
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in the organic or food retail sector, or agriculture.
- Experience in building and further developing structures, processes, and business relationships.
- Understanding of sales, trade, and collaboration with producers.
- Deep understanding of organic foods and ecological agriculture.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the willingness to take responsibility and drive initiatives forward.
- Networking competence in the organic and agricultural sector (Bioland or similar is an advantage).
- Social competence and empathy towards employees, producers, and partners.
