The focus is on comprehensive solutions for reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation based on modern BI technologies. We are seeking a Senior Consultant who combines financial understanding, consulting expertise, and analytical thinking. In this role, you will support clients long-term in optimizing their financial and controlling processes and develop modern BI and planning solutions together with them.

Your Responsibilities as Senior Consultant

• Consulting and Support: Advise and support clients in the areas of Business Intelligence, corporate planning, and consolidation.
• Analysis: Analyze business requirements in collaboration with Finance, Controlling, and Corporate Accounting departments.
• Development: Develop concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts.
• Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems.
• Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and pre-systems.
• Accompany client projects from conception to commissioning.
• Conduct workshops, user training, and presentations for clients.
• Provide long-term support and further development of existing client solutions.
• Support presales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or comparable fields.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, financial planning, and corporate consolidation.
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes.
• Practical experience in analyzing and optimizing finance and controlling processes.
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with clients and business departments.
• Analytical and structured approach to work with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Interest in data-driven solutions and understanding of BI and planning systems.
• Fluent German language skills for optimal client consultation and team communication.
• Occasional travel readiness for client appointments and workshops (approx. 1x per month).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1.
