Licensed Electrician - Maintenance & Supervisory

Riverbay Corporation is looking for a skilled and licensed Electrician with a minimum of 10 years of experience to provide oversight of electrical functions, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA requirements, and the ability to supervise electrical work.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical functions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational efficiency, and timely maintenance.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment up to 480 volts.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair hot water circulating pumps up to 480 volts.
• Install, maintain, and service ejector pumps and domestic water pumps.
• Install new equipment, including pumps, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform both emergency and routine maintenance across residential, commercial, public areas, and parking garages.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and complete repairs using blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical resources.
• Inspect work sites for safety hazards, violations, and code compliance issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Properly maintain tools, equipment, materials, and storage areas according to safety standards.
• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance, ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
• Take measurements for precise installation and proper fit.
• Maintain detailed logs of vehicle usage, condition, and maintenance.
• Track inventory usage and supply levels.
• Recommend and/or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Work Experience and Minimum Requirements

• Required: Licensed Electrician.
• Required: Minimum of 10 years of electrical experience.
• Required: Valid driver’s license.
• Required: Prior Supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to perform and oversee work in compliance with code.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to maintenance.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and large mechanical equipment.
• Must be available for emergency work.
• Effective written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Testing

• Drug screening, as permitted by and consistent with applicable law.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to routinely exert up to 75 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• This type of work involves regular walking or standing for extended periods of time.
• May involve stooping or bending.
• Handling and working with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
