The project "handicap" aims to support works councils, personnel councils, and employee and severely disabled representatives in sensitizing their companies to the employment and training of severely disabled people and in consolidating the idea of inclusion within companies.

Your Tasks

  • Advising company representative bodies on the participation of people with disabilities in working life (SGB IX, Part 3), focusing on prevention, inclusion, and rehabilitation. This includes employer obligations and the rights of severely disabled people, the tasks of severely disabled representatives, inclusion agreements, and company reintegration management (BEM).
  • (Outreach) consulting and support for representative bodies in specific cases within the company.
  • Giving lectures and in-house training on consulting topics for committees and at company meetings.
  • Moderating the development of inclusion agreements and BEM.
  • Creating specialist articles, practical guides, and informational materials.
  • Producing summaries and reports on project work and its results.
  • Cooperating with committees and institutions in the field; maintaining the network and contacts with organizations involved in company and non-company severely disabled policy.

Your Profile

  • University degree, preferably in Law, Psychology, Pedagogy, or Adult Education.
  • Experience in consulting.
  • Experience in the field of rehabilitation and participation of people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of the work of company representative bodies.
  • Willingness to work in a team and ability for independent work.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.
