Accounting Assistant (Asistente de Contabilidad)

Autozama is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide crucial support in our accounting and financial operations. This role is perfect for someone eager to contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department and gain valuable experience.

Your Mission:

Provide administrative, accounting, and financial support, ensuring the accurate recording, control, and organization of company information, while also ensuring compliance with internal processes and fiscal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and administrative documentation.
• Follow up on suppliers, accounts payable, and payment requests.
• Perform accounting entries and bank reconciliations.
• Support tax processes (606, 607, ITBIS, IR-17, and ISR).
• Provide support in payroll, TSS, and INFOTEP processes.
• Prepare reports and assist with external audits.

Requirements:

• Final year student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and SAP is desirable.
