About the Role

ProSidian is looking for a Problem Solving Training Course Instructor to support the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) Civilian Training Services program. This position is key to developing Human Capital solutions that strengthen workforce readiness and leadership effectiveness within the DOD/Military sector. You will deliver essential training designed to equip civilian personnel with advanced problem-solving skills, fostering improved organizational performance and mission outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lesson plans for problem-solving training courses.
  • Facilitate engaging instruction, both in-person and virtually.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate participant understanding and skill application.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to participants.
  • Support curriculum updates and implement improvements based on feedback and performance data.
  • Integrate learning management systems (LMS), audio/visual technologies, and performance-based learning methodologies.
  • Deliver 2-day (16-hour) Instructor-Led Training (ILT) workshops focusing on structured problem-solving, root-cause analysis, systems thinking, and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10+ years of professional experience in training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.
  • Functional and technical area expertise within the DOD/Military Sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in facilitation, adult learning principles, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, and assessment.
  • Strong competencies in leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and customer focus.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies, the Army Problem Solving Process, the Army Design Methodology, root-cause analysis, and systems thinking is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio is preferred.
  • NACI eligibility required.
