About the Role

The Experience & Events Associate for the Wholesale Department is responsible for executing and elevating the Julie Vos brand experience across various initiatives, including in-store events, group dinners, showroom events, and visual merchandising. This role is pivotal in bringing the brand to life through exceptional hospitality and customer experiences, fostering strong relationships with wholesale retail partners. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, service-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to creating polished, memorable experiences that align with the Julie Vos Brand.

What You’ll Do

Event Planning & Showroom Hospitality:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute wholesale showroom cocktail parties and client events.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including catering, rentals, staffing, and décor.
• Create and manage budgets for showroom events, in-store events, and top retailer dinners.
• Serve as the on-site host for events, ensuring a polished and elevated guest experience.
• Maintain showroom hospitality standards and manage inventory of supplies and entertaining materials.
• Plan and execute private group dinners with top retailers during major gift shows.
• Manage attendee lists, invitations, RSVPs, and provide attendance reports for events.
• Coordinate in-store appearances with retail partners, serving as the primary liaison.
• Create detailed itineraries and confirm all logistics in advance.
• Ensure retail locations are prepared for appearances and coordinate gifting and hospitality.

Retail Partner Event Execution:

• Develop and maintain a standardized "Retailer Event Playbook" outlining expectations for promotion, staffing, visual merchandising, and hospitality.
• Communicate clear expectations to retailers hosting Julie Vos appearances.
• Follow up post-event with recap notes, photos, and performance feedback.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Display Operations:

• Execute Julie Vos visual merchandising initiatives across retail partners and showrooms.
• Coordinate the ordering, production, shipping, and installation of branded displays and fixtures.
• Manage timelines for store installations and seasonal refreshes.
• Liaise with retailers, vendors, installers, and shipping partners to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure brand presentation consistency across all locations.
• Support planning and execution of in-store events at the Julie Vos Dallas retail location.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience in event planning, client support, customer service, hospitality, retail operations, or a related field.
• Proven success in planning and executing events, client experiences, or brand activations from concept to completion.
• Established network of vendors, venues, caterers, florists, and event partners is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, project management, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to represent the Julie Vos brand professionally.
• Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and execute successfully.
• Experience coordinating logistics including travel, shipping, inventory, and vendor management.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for trade shows and events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, and Slack; project management tool experience is a plus.
