The Opportunity
As a Digital Solutions Manager, you will provide cross-platform, full-funnel digital marketing solutions and grow digital business with advertisers in local communities. This hybrid, in-field sales position focuses on identifying and qualifying new business prospects, securing new clients, and managing relationships to meet client objectives. You will act as an expert digital sales resource, assisting the team with closing business while also developing new business independently. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring the management of multiple clients and opportunities daily.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management & Sales Goals: Drive digital sales revenue and meet team goals.
- Relationship Building: Act as a trusted marketing partner, providing industry insights and tailored guidance to local businesses and agencies.
- Solution-Oriented Selling: Leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to solve complex client problems with simple, tailored solutions.
- Strategic Consultation: Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, demonstrating expertise in industry trends and advertising solutions, with a deep understanding of client visions and objectives.
- Business Development: Cultivate new business independently and collaboratively with the local team, while also growing existing accounts.
- Client Success: Own the pre- and post-sale process, ensuring client expectations are exceeded and results are delivered.
- Performance Analysis: Interpret performance reports and use data to make campaign recommendations that drive incremental sales.
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Create future value for Townsquare by designing scalable, long-term solutions that meet shared objectives.
- Team Coaching: Coach, mentor, and train the sales team on digital product offerings and industry trends.
Additional Expectations
Participate in regular virtual team meetings with cameras on to foster collaboration and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of digital sales quota achievement.
- Proven track record of selling digital marketing products (Search, Social, Programmatic).
- Proven track record of success in growing new business.
- Advanced knowledge of digital research tools and methodologies.
- Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- IAB Certification (preferred).
- BA/BS degree.
- Minimum 2 years of digital sales experience.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
