About The Role
We are seeking a highly driven, organized, and inquisitive team member to join our Fund Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new FinTech capabilities to and with our clients and partners. You will collaborate closely with leaders across Investment Originations, Sales, Relationship Management, Operations & Client Service, Technology, CAIS IQ, and Marketing. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record in leading complex onboarding and/or implementation projects within the financial services industry. You thrive in fast-paced environments, have exceptional attention to detail, and can manage competing priorities effectively. You are a creative, entrepreneurial problem solver, and a proactive, service-oriented collaborator.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage new projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
- Participate in scoping solutions, including developing business requirements and translating them into technical needs; review project details with your supervisor.
- Engage in the discovery phase, gather and analyze requirements, and provide recommendations for scope and solutions to your supervisor.
- Manage necessary resources to meet business requirements, achieve stakeholder objectives, and ensure satisfaction, with support from your supervisor or project sponsor.
- Manage people and client relationships within projects.
- Escalate resource constraints to your supervisor and seek their support in engaging necessary resources.
- Maintain project tracking tools and other internal/external resources (e.g., Confluence, Airtable) to ensure timely completion.
- Identify project deliverable risks and communicate them to management and key stakeholders, offering recommendations for mitigation strategies and coordinating execution.
- Effectively and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders and manage expectations with project sponsors, partnering with your supervisor on strategies for engaging executive-level stakeholders.
- Network with key contacts within your area of expertise, adapting communication style and consulting with your supervisor to deliver messages relevant to the broader firm's business.
- Maintain, circulate, and file accurate, detailed notes, including next steps and follow-ups from client calls.
- Draft updates and translate notes for supervisor review prior to socialization; provide feedback to Platform Product Management, Marketing, and/or Strategy to support client and partner-facing collateral on new solutions.
- Collect and define content for training materials (integration/user guides), detailed platform experiences for similar clients, and broader wins/lessons learned for future sales discussions.
- Track and update your supervisor on the status of technology and operations requests (configuration, enhancements, break-fix) according to client specifications during testing and immediately post-launch.
- Become an expert on the CAIS platform, custom solutions, and CAIS investment products.
- Engage with clients and/or partners in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Client Service, and Relationship Managers to propose and secure new strategic business opportunities.
- Support business development leads with client prospects/calls or prospective partner firms related to solutions within your domain expertise.
- Draft sales-oriented presentations tailored to specific client needs.
- Participate in pre-sales support activities (e.g., demonstrating capabilities, explaining API functionality, defining optimal solutions) based on priorities and leadership direction.
- Apply AI tools to accelerate routine workstreams such as drafting meeting notes, summarizing project status, and synthesizing stakeholder feedback, exercising human judgment on outputs before external sharing.
Qualifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and team-based problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with initiative, ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, and a drive to implement new methods for process improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in project management or operations within financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline required.
- Experience with project management applications such as Jira, Asana, Monday, or similar.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and team improvement.
- Excellent relationship management aptitude and attitude.
- Demonstrated AI fluency: comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., drafting, summarization, research) in daily work, with sound judgment on their application.
- Prior experience in a small to mid-sized firm or startup environment preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- New York, NY Base Salary Range: $121,500 - $148,500. Actual compensation depends on factors like skill set, experience level, and location.
