Job Purpose

This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within eBay. We are looking for a hybrid AI-Enabled Campaign Manager who combines strategic campaign ownership with hands-on execution, operational excellence, and a strong interest in AI-driven marketing innovation. This role sits at the intersection of campaign strategy, CRM execution, marketing technology, data, and creative production. You will lead and execute customer-facing campaigns across eBay’s owned channels (email, push, onsite, in-app, landing pages), while leveraging AI tools and creative capabilities to scale personalization, improve efficiency, and drive performance. You are both a campaign owner and an operator: comfortable managing timelines and stakeholders, while also building, QA-ing, and optimizing campaigns yourself. You bring a test-and-learn mindset, curiosity for AI, and the ability to turn insights into impactful customer experiences.

What You'll Do:

Own CRM Campaigns End-to-End

  • Lead campaigns from briefing through to launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Build and execute campaigns across email, push, onsite, and in-app channels.
  • Deliver personalized, customer-first experiences aligned with eBay's priorities.
  • Manage timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and delivery across global teams.
  • Ensure flawless execution through QA, troubleshooting, targeting accuracy, and optimization.

Help Shape AI-Driven Marketing

  • Utilize AI tools to enhance campaign creation, personalization, and testing.
  • Experiment with AI-generated copy, subject lines, creative concepts, and workflows.
  • Support AI prompt development and scalable marketing automation.
  • Improve workflows and operational efficiency through AI-driven ways of working.
  • Adopt a test-and-learn mindset for experimentation and optimization.
  • Ensure responsible AI usage and quality control.

Support Creative & Performance Optimizations

  • Brief, review, and optimize CRM creative assets.
  • Adapt visuals across various channels.
  • Conduct A/B tests and translate insights into measurable improvements.
  • Contribute to improving engagement, efficiency, and key marketing KPIs.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years in CRM, campaign management, or marketing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with owned channels (email, push, onsite, in-app).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or digital marketing environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign QA, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, Slack).
  • Understanding of segmentation, targeting, and campaign logic.
  • Keen interest in AI applications within marketing.
  • Ability to translate marketing needs into effective AI prompts and workflows.
  • A strong eye for visual quality, branding, and detail.
  • Excellent collaborator capable of working effectively across teams, functions, and locations.
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable with continuous change and innovation.

We Offer

  • An excellent salary based on experience and equal pay policies.
  • Pension, free private healthcare, mental health support, and company sick pay scheme.
  • 26 days of paid holiday annually, plus UK Bank Holidays.
  • Refreshments provided in the office all week, with drinks on Thursdays at 4 pm.
  • Support for commuting via season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies for new parents.
  • Social and Cultural Events offering opportunities to connect with colleagues.
  • Inspirational Talks featuring regular guest speakers.
  • Learning and Development opportunities to support continuous growth.
  • A Buddy Programme to assist during your initial weeks at DEPT®.
  • A reputation for positive impact: Certified B Corp® since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Opportunity to work with diverse and exciting clients.
