The Role: Manager, Sales Operations

As the Manager, Sales Operations, you will partner closely with the Sales team to manage the business using data. This pivotal role involves tracking the sales pipeline to identify opportunities and threats, providing key forecasting and analytical insights, and optimizing sales processes and technology. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage support functions essential to sales force productivity, including planning, reporting, process optimization, technology optimization, program implementation, and compensation administration.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting and analysis on pipeline trends, key metrics, and KPIs, supporting ad hoc strategic analyses.
  • Develop Gap to Goal analyses to evaluate sales performance against quota, offering business insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify and implement business process and workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with Sales Compensation design, territory planning, account assignments, quota setting, and sales productivity reporting.

Ideal Experience, Education & Training

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to triangulate data sources for accuracy.
  • Natural intellectual and systems curiosity regarding CRM, financial systems, and analytics.
  • Quick learner, capable of analyzing issues from business, finance, and IT perspectives.
  • Highly proficient in working with large datasets and translating them into compelling narratives with recommendations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Sales Operations, Sales, or a related function.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience managing and leading a team at the supervisory/manager level.
  • CRM proficiency required (preferably SFDC or MSFT Dynamics).
  • Snowflake proficiency required.
  • BI tools familiarity preferred (Tableau or MS Power BI).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $132,000 - $156,000 per year.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) if residing within commutable distance to an office.
  • Remote work may be considered for those outside commutable distance.
