About the Role

We are expanding our agile and cross-functional team and are looking for you as a Software Architect (m/f/d). You will analyze and evaluate existing systems and architectures, design future-proof solutions in collaboration with clients, and develop high-performance software according to customer-specific requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate existing systems and architectures (Architecture Reviews).
• Design demand-oriented software architectures for viable and future-oriented solutions, coordinating with clients both remotely and on-site.
• Create high-performance software according to customer-specific specifications and architectures, making architectural decisions collaboratively with the project team.
• Serve as the point of contact for the development team and clients, personally accompanying projects.
• Support software development efforts.
• Implement specified applications and deployments following agile principles.
• Be responsible for direct exchange, knowledge transfer, and the development of our tech stack within the company.
• Actively coach colleagues with methodological knowledge, experience, and insights.

Your Qualifications:

• A vocational training or academic degree (interdisciplinary backgrounds are welcome).
• Several years of experience in software development with initial practical experience as a Software Architect.
• Strong holistic, solution-oriented, and abstract thinking skills.
• Experience with current technologies and frontend/backend frameworks (e.g., Java EE, Spring, Angular, REST).
• Knowledge of Java EE and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring).
• Know-how in CI/CD.
• Comfort working in an agile and cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of flexibility.
• Enthusiasm for discovering new things, meeting diverse people, and contributing expertise where needed.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
