Your Role: Senior Principal Systems Engineer

As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you will hold the technical reins of our weapon system. You will be responsible for the overall architecture, integrate technical disciplines, and make the design decisions that determine the performance and operational suitability of our missiles.

Your Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall technical architecture of the weapon system
• Derive, specify, and maintain requirements at the system, subsystem, and component levels
• Ensure technical consistency across all disciplines
• Manage technical trade-off analyses and make well-founded design decisions
• Coordinate aerodynamics, mechanics, electronics, navigation, and software into a coherent overall system
• Support verification and validation throughout the entire development lifecycle

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience with missile, aviation, or comparable complex systems
• In-depth experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Management
• Knowledge of military requirements and operational scenarios
• Pragmatic, results-oriented approach with strong systems thinking
• Demonstrated successful development of hardware up to flight testing is an advantage
• Experience with MBSE or SysML, as well as knowledge of relevant military and aviation standards, is an advantage
• Knowledge in the field of Electronic Warfare is an advantage
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
• Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo security screening according to SÜG
