Your Role: Senior Navigation Engineer

As a Senior Navigation Engineer, you will develop navigation solutions that function even where GPS has failed. You will work on robust sensor fusion, anti-jamming, and alternative methods – contributing to one of the most crucial components of modern precision weapons.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop robust navigation solutions for GNSS-denied environments
• Develop and optimize sensor fusion algorithms
• Analyze, simulate, and test navigation methods
• Conduct and evaluate field trials
• Collaborate closely with software, systems, and test teams
• Evaluate and integrate new sensors and methods into the overall system

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience with IMU, GNSS, and anti-jamming systems
• Knowledge in the field of Electronic Warfare
• In-depth knowledge of control engineering, estimation methods, or sensor fusion
• Experience with practical tests and data evaluation
• Experience with Image-Based Navigation or Terrain Referenced Navigation is an advantage
• Knowledge in AI-supported positioning is an advantage
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
• Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo security screening according to SÜG
