Your Role: Senior Test Engineer

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the testing of our missile and launch systems – from component to overall system level. You will plan test campaigns, build test benches, and push our systems to their limits under realistic conditions, ensuring they meet the highest demands for performance, robustness, and reliability in operation.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test procedures at component, subsystem, and system levels
• Design, build, and commission test benches and measurement systems
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate development, qualification, and acceptance tests
• Coordinate tests with external test facilities and flight test ranges
• Ensure complete, traceable test documentation and seamless traceability
• Support flight test campaigns and conduct structured error and root cause analyses

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Distinct hands-on mentality and a structured, safety-conscious working style
• High willingness to travel, including for multi-week assignments on test ranges
• Experience with missile, guided missile, or aviation systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of flight test ranges and their requirements is an advantage
• Experience handling pyrotechnic systems and rocket motors, as well as authorization to handle explosives, is an advantage
• Knowledge of measurement technology, data acquisition, and data evaluation is an advantage
• Knowledge of military test and qualification standards (e.g., MIL-STD, AECTP, STANAG) is an advantage
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
• Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo security screening according to SÜG
