Your Responsibilities

  • Development, conception, and hardware-related programming of Embedded Systems in C/C++ within structured development processes.
  • Integration, testing, and commissioning of prototypes and pre-production samples on target hardware (e.g., MSP430, ARM Cortex).
  • Creation of test cases, automated tests, and software troubleshooting for new and existing products.
  • Participation in risk analyses and implementation of functional safety requirements.
  • Ensuring code quality and development documentation – both internally and for external certification bodies.
  • Close collaboration with other software and hardware developers, utilizing common development and versioning tools (e.g., Git, Jira, CI/CD).

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in embedded software development, ideally with experience in ARM-based microcontrollers.
  • Experience with development according to common software development processes (functional safety) from requirements specification, through design and testing (e.g., TESSY), to documentation.
  • Practical experience in commissioning PCBs and assemblies, troubleshooting, and using measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscope and logic analyzer).
  • Systematic, analytical, and independent working style, combined with teamwork skills and confident communication in German and English.
  • Ideally, knowledge in high-frequency technology, communication technology, or electromagnetic compatibility.
