System Administrator (m/w/d) - Microsoft Windows Focus

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a specialization in Microsoft Windows-based infrastructures for a key client.

About the Role

This position involves the comprehensive administration and operation of Windows client and server environments, both virtual and physical. You will be instrumental in supporting end-users and ensuring the smooth functioning of the IT infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Administration and operation of Windows client as well as virtual and physical server environments.
• Support employees with 1st and 2nd level support (on-site and remote).
• Management and further development of the network and IT infrastructure.
• Management of hardware, workstations, and mobile devices (iOS).
• Operation and monitoring of the backup and recovery landscape.
• Collaboration with external IT service providers and service partners.
• Consultation of specialist departments on technical issues.
• Maintenance of IT documentation and participation in optimization and IT projects.

Your Qualifications

• Completed IT education or many years of experience in the relevant field.
• Experience in system administration of Windows Server and Client environments.
• Practical experience in user support and the operation of network infrastructures.
• Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and backup solutions.
• Ideally, basic knowledge of Linux environments.
• High awareness of IT security and stable operating processes.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
