Depositary Operations Specialist

IQ-EQ is a leading Investor Services group offering comprehensive end-to-end services in administration, accounting, reporting, and regulatory and compliance needs for the investment sector worldwide.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine depositary operations with moderate supervision. You will handle straightforward depositary tasks independently while developing a deeper understanding of processes and requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Execute routine depositary operations and perform cash monitoring activities.
  • Review basic transaction documentation and maintain prescribed compliance standards.
  • Support client service delivery, delivering technical knowledge, conducting cash monitoring activities, and reviewing transaction documentation.
  • Prepare year-end asset positions and handle routine client queries.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and report progress to supervisors.

About You (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in depositary or custody operations, fund administration, or similar roles, with exposure to cash monitoring and transaction review.
  • Strong understanding of depositary operations, regulatory compliance standards, and fund activity processes, including asset position and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail for reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
