Mission

The Client Services Manager will own the day-to-day execution and client experience for a portfolio of direct and programmatic advertising accounts. This role is the essential bridge connecting clients with Kargo's internal teams, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, perform to goals, and lay the groundwork for client retention and growth. Success in this role directly prevents client relationship erosion and identifies revenue opportunities.

Role Type

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 4 days per week.

Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Campaign Execution: Ensure assigned accounts move through the full campaign lifecycle (kickoff to delivery) on time and on spec, without chronic delays, missing assets, or execution-related escalations.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate warm, responsive, and trust-based client relationships, making clients feel well-served and view Kargo as a reliable partner.
  • Insightful Reporting: Deliver performance reports on schedule that include clear takeaways, helping clients understand campaign effectiveness and next steps.
  • Revenue Growth: Proactively identify and flag upsell and renewal opportunities to sales or senior CS teams with sufficient lead time.
  • Internal Collaboration: Efficiently route demand-side needs, revenue blockers, and client feedback to the appropriate internal teams, keeping campaigns on track with minimal escalation.

Skills — Core Technical Capabilities

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or a client-facing role (agency planning, buying, or ad operations).
  • Working knowledge of direct and programmatic campaign mechanics (trafficking, tagging, asset collection).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and data organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital media metrics and industry terminology.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, creative).
  • Exposure to campaign troubleshooting in direct or programmatic environments.

Compensation

  • U.S. Salary Range: $74,000—$80,000 USD (Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.)
