About the Company

We are an owner-managed company based in Berlin with approximately 70 employees. We specialize primarily in the rental and management of properties and are active in other industries as well.

Your New Role

• Overall Commercial Responsibility: Take full commercial responsibility for associated companies, serving as the primary point of contact for finances and cash flows within the group.
• Liquidity Planning & Management: Plan and manage liquidity, control finances for associated companies, and monitor bank accounts.
• Financial Oversight: Ensure major cash flows of the group are managed reliably.
• Banking Relations: Prepare for and negotiate financing agreements with banks (two coordination meetings annually).
• Financial Reporting: Largely prepare month-end and year-end closing reports for external tax advisors, with hands-on involvement in ongoing financial accounting.
• Rent Monitoring: Oversee rent income.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of eight employees.
• Strategic Partnership: Serve as a competent contact and sparring partner for management and managing directors of associated companies.
• Development Perspective: Grow into additional responsibilities over time, with the potential to assume management roles in subsidiary or property companies after successful onboarding.

Your Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of five years of professional experience in a comparable position, such as Treasurer.
• Industry Knowledge: Additional professional experience in the real estate industry.
• Accounting Understanding: Solid understanding of accounting, including practical experience with closing procedures and ongoing financial accounting.
• Contract Management: Good basic understanding or practical experience with contract management.
• Legal Acumen: Legal understanding and knowledge of real estate law would be a significant asset.
• Languages: Excellent oral and written communication skills in German.
• Personal Attributes: Extreme reliability and discretion are essential given the responsibilities.
