Mission

We are looking for an analytical and strategic individual with strong expertise in proving ad effectiveness and uncovering insights from diverse data sources. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity, a passion for business impact, and excels in problem definition, analysis, and recommendation development. This role is crucial for synthesizing and delivering compelling insights that support Kargo's business objectives.

The Role

The Associate Research Manager will collaborate closely with Client Services, Media Strategy, and Sales Teams. This hybrid role requires 4 days per week onsite.

Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • Liaise with industry research vendors to manage campaigns and present findings.
  • Support all stages of ad effectiveness research, from study design to data analysis and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product) to ensure company success.
  • Participate in client-facing strategy sessions, kick-off meetings, and result presentations.
  • Serve as the internal research expert, surfacing trends and consumer insights from primary and syndicated sources.
  • Establish processes for technical campaign measurement setup and tracking.
  • Identify, investigate, and evaluate new media measurement models, data sources, and research partners.

Skills — Core Technical Capabilities

  • 2-3 years of experience in research, analytics, or measurement.
  • Expertise in digital brand lift measurement.
  • Experience in digital, video, and/or CTV preferred.
  • Direct experience with research services (e.g., Nielsen, Upwave, Dynata, Kantar, comScore).
  • Technical knowledge of campaign setup.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience supporting advertising agencies and sales teams with consumer insights.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel for data extraction and manipulation.

Compensation

U.S. Salary Range: $75,000—$80,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
