The Role: Senior Manager, Revenue Enablement

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Enablement to lead and scale our enablement function across significant business segments. You will define the strategic direction for enablement programs, oversee their measurement and governance, and lead a team of enablement specialists responsible for day-to-day delivery. This role requires a leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational detail, establishing standards and frameworks, and representing the enablement function at a senior level. You will own the complete enablement agenda for your segment, translating business needs into program strategies and ensuring high-quality, consistent execution.

What You'll Do:

Programme Strategy & Governance

  • Oversee enablement specialists across large business segments, ensuring alignment to quality and effectiveness standards.
  • Create training objectives and define metrics for assessing program effectiveness.
  • Ensure training content and delivery methods are continuously updated to reflect product, customer, and business priority changes.

Needs Assessment & Strategic Design

  • Collaborate with Sales and Product leadership to identify capability gaps and shape the enablement roadmap.
  • Develop training solutions tailored to regional sales resources and contexts.
  • Ensure internal and external programs align with product, customer, and business objectives.
  • Establish and evolve the framework for needs assessment, solution design, and outcome evaluation.

Stakeholder Management & Consultation

  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted senior advisor.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups to resolve enablement-related issues.
  • Represent the enablement function in senior forums and present program performance and recommendations.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of enablement specialists, setting clear expectations and fostering high performance.
  • Establish team work processes, standards, and priorities, promoting rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Address escalated issues and support specialists in their issue-resolution capabilities.
  • Identify, retain, and develop talent within the team, addressing performance gaps proactively.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Reporting

  • Define and own the measurement framework for enablement effectiveness, from completion rates to business impact.
  • Identify systemic issues or improvement opportunities and lead the response.
  • Report program performance, trends, and risks to leadership with actionable recommendations.

Measures of Success:

  • Within your first month: Complete onboarding, understand current programs, build relationships with key stakeholders, and audit the program portfolio.
  • Within your third month: Establish a clear program strategy and roadmap, define the metrics framework, ensure specialists have clear remits, and begin addressing critical structural gaps.
  • Within your sixth month: Achieve full strategic ownership, implement a robust reporting framework, establish yourself as a credible senior partner, and ensure the team is well-led and consistently delivering.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years in enablement, L&D, or a related sales performance function, with 3-5 years in management.
  • Strong track record of designing and governing enablement programs at scale.
  • Skilled consultant and communicator, able to represent the function credibly at a senior level.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and make reasoned trade-offs.
  • Structured, outcomes-oriented approach to strategy and project management.
  • Experience managing or selecting third-party vendors.
  • Experience with CRM and enablement tooling (e.g., Highspot, Yoodli, Gong).
