Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and operate bare metal Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop Kubernetes operators.
• Own, maintain, and develop tooling and documentation for developers.
• Package and maintain platform-as-a-service building blocks such as stream services, data orchestrators, databases, and caches.
• Drive innovation within the Platform team.

Qualifications

• Academic background (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science.
• 3-7 years of experience with Kubernetes as a user and administrator (a significant plus).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Rust, Go, or C++.
• Solid knowledge of system programming, Linux, and troubleshooting skills.
• Working experience with observability practices and tooling (a significant plus).
• Experience with distributed systems like Kafka and Etcd (a significant plus).
• General knowledge of infrastructure and protocols in domains such as DNS, Networking, and Security (a plus).
• Familiarity with GPU operations and development (a plus).
• Basic understanding of enterprise storage solutions (a plus).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and/or large-scale configuration management systems.
