About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling core product features that enhance the donation experience for millions. You'll utilize your expertise in Node.js, React, and TypeScript to build complex components, from dynamic donation widgets to data-driven admin dashboards, with a strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and user experience. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on solving real-world problems at scale within a mission-driven, high-impact engineering culture.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain resilient frontend and backend features using React and Node.js.
- Develop core products, including donation checkouts, embeddable widgets, and donor/partner portals.
- Architect and develop scalable system components handling millions of monthly transactions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code.
- Lead architecture and technical design discussions for complex problem-solving.
- Mentor peers through constructive code reviews and feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and shape the roadmap.
- Proactively identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
- Actively utilize AI tools in daily work to enhance problem-solving and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional fullstack development experience.
- Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (event loop, closures, promises, prototypes).
- Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem (Vue familiarity is a plus).
- Strong backend expertise with Node.js (Koa or NestJS experience highly preferred).
- Experience with Webpack configuration, performance optimization, and profiling.
- A keen eye for detail and a high sense of ownership and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MongoDB, ClickHouse, or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.

Compensation
- The compensation range for this role is: $3,800 - $5,100 gross per month.
- Final compensation will be determined by relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and role alignment.
