What You'll Do:

  • Manage your own book of business through prospecting and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Drive the full sales cycle primarily through inside sales: make introductory calls, assess business goals through qualifying, and close deals.
  • Become an expert in Yelp’s full suite of products: Yelp Reservations, Waitlist, Connect, and Advertising, understanding their value proposition.
  • Be knowledgeable of competitive restaurant solutions available in the market.
  • Adapt product recommendations quickly to suit client needs, utilizing probing questions and objection handling.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.

What It Takes to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of outbound sales experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with restaurant technology (reservation systems, waitlist systems, front-of-house management tools) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable with phone outreach.
  • General computer and email proficiency; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and a drive to win.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • An appetite for learning; keen on applying training and feedback for continuous self-improvement.
  • Commitment to a high standard of integrity and work ethic.
  • Excellent listening skills, assertive, persistent, and persuasive.
  • Genuinely curious about people, local restaurants, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others.
  • Adaptable and able to think on your feet; failure is not an option when faced with new challenges.
