Your Tasks:
As a Network Administrator, you will be part of our four-person team at our Bamberg location (Hartmannstraße).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration and further development of the existing network environment (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VoIP, VPN).
- Assisting in the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of the network infrastructure (routing, switching, monitoring).
- Analyzing and resolving network issues, as well as supporting performance optimizations.
- Assisting in firewall administration and the implementation of IT security measures.
- Collaborating with external service providers in the network and security domain.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration).
- Initial professional experience in a network environment, e.g., through training, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic knowledge in the areas of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, or NetApp is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
- Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written).
- Willingness for on-call duty and limited travel.
