Your Role

As a Junior PR Consultant, you will:

• Strategic and Individual Media Relations: Develop strategically creative and tailor-made PR story angles that you pitch directly to journalists. No standard texts or mass PMs – only individual, targeted PR work.
• Client Management: Strategically and operationally support clients from various industries, usually in a team of two to three. You will act as a sparring partner for clients at C-level, not just an order taker.
• Active Media Outreach: Build and maintain close relationships with journalists from business, tech, and trade media, placing your clients in relevant discourse with compelling stories.
• Targeted Performance: Work with clear KPIs and contribute measurably to success through daily media contact and close client support.
• Active Networking: Build and maintain robust relationships with journalists from key media outlets in the DACH region and Europe.
• At the Forefront of AI: Actively work with our internal AI stack. Research, pitch preparation, topic scouting – where machines are faster, we let them do the work. You invest the time saved in substance, relationships, and creativity.

• You know the most important media outlets and have a good feel for relevant topics and exciting stories.

Who You Are

• You have at least 1 year of professional experience in proactive media relations, ideally in a PR agency or communications department with media outreach and content creation (e.g., pitches, guest articles, interviews).
• You have already had client contact, taken responsibility with demonstrable placements in leading German media, and are eager for more.
• You are hands-on, take initiative independently, and find solutions when things don't go exactly according to plan. You have the right "can-do" attitude and enjoy continuous development.
• AI is a network for you, not a threat. You have already worked with LLMs or AI workflows and are excited to work with and help shape our system.
• You speak German at C2 level and have a professional command of English.
