About the Role

As the Head of Generics Market for Germany, you will have full P&L responsibility for the German market. You will lead a compact, high-performing local team and report directly to the European management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Direction: Drive and develop the tender business, identify profitable niche opportunities, and architect sales channel strategies across clinic, wholesale, and mail-order pharmacy.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners in wholesale, clinic procurement, and mail-order. Actively shape the company's industry positioning with statutory health insurances (GKV) and associations.
• Portfolio Influence: Contribute actively to the German market's portfolio strategy, aligning local market needs with European corporate logic.
• Strategic Oversight: While operational tender processing is handled by a capable team, you will provide strategic direction and oversight. Data and reporting are reliably supplied by the corporate headquarters.

Qualifications

• Several years of sales and leadership experience within the German generics market.
• Deep strategic understanding of the health insurance tender business, including market dynamics and portfolio logic.
• Proven experience in relevant sales channels: clinic, wholesale, mail-order pharmacy, and pharmacy.
• Demonstrated success in margin optimization rather than gross revenue maximization.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, defining success by strategic impact rather than team size or reporting lines.
