About the Role

Sartorius is seeking a motivated Field Account Manager for the Philadelphia, PA territory. This field-based role is critical for driving sales growth within mid-sized and large customer accounts and fostering strong client relationships. The product portfolio includes balances, water purification systems, pipettes, filtration solutions, and microbiology testing products. Active use of Salesforce (SFDC) is essential for managing sales activities and achieving targets.

What You Will Accomplish Together With Us

  • Promote Sartorius products and services within an assigned territory to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Utilize SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Analyze SFDC data to identify trends, generate insights, and track sales performance.
  • Drive the adoption of newly launched innovative products and services.
  • Assess customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and implement account plans, coordinating resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance market perception and capture business.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory.
  • Regularly assess customer potential and develop strategies to realize business opportunities.
  • Manage and build strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the territory.

What Will Convince Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (higher education is beneficial).
  • 3+ years of field sales experience, preferably in the Life Science sector (laboratory/process-based).
  • Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
