Job Description

The Sales Contract and Rebate Analyst is a key member of the Sales Go-To-Market Operations team, responsible for the comprehensive management of sales contracts and customer rebate programs. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across all contract and rebate activities. You will be instrumental in data analysis, process standardization, and the successful implementation of a new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, acting as an operational expert for Sales, Finance, and Customer Experience teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Contract & Rebate Management: Govern the entire lifecycle of sales contracts, administer customer rebate programs (calculation, processing, validation), resolve operational issues, and act as backup for customer compliance fines and chargebacks.
  • Process Governance & Standardization: Define and enforce standardized processes for contract administration and rebate management, serve as the subject matter expert for dealer operational workflows, and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct regular data analysis on contract performance and rebate effectiveness, generate reports for leadership, ensure data integrity in SAP and other systems, and monitor KPIs for efficiency and compliance.
  • System & Implementation Ownership: Lead the transition to a new CLM system, including data migration. Serve as the business process owner for the CLM platform, providing user support and ensuring system effectiveness. Collaborate with IT and implementation teams on system enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the operational liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Logistics. Provide expert guidance and training to internal stakeholders, and partner with Sales Enablement on communications.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years in contract management, sales operations, or financial analysis (preferably sales/rebate focused). Experience in highly collaborative, matrixed operational teams.
  • Technical Skills:
  • DocuSign experience (digital signatures, template creation, tracking) preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data modeling).
  • Experience with CLM platforms, CRM systems, and ERPs (SAP/S4 Hana preferred).
  • Familiarity migrating files from legacy document management systems (e.g., PaperVision) is highly preferred.
  • Certifications: Contract Management certification (e.g., CCCM or CPCM) is a strong plus.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, ability to self-start and adapt in a dynamic digitalization environment.

Additional Information

  • Work Model: Hybrid remote (60% in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois; 3 days per week).
  • Compensation: U.S. base salary range of $78,000 to $88,000, determined by factors including experience, role complexity, and location.
