The Opportunity

Salary: £93,500 - £123,500 + Incentive Awards + Benefits

We're hiring a Product Marketing Lead to join our Core Banking Collective, shaping the future of everyday money management. Core Banking is central to Monzo, encompassing our account products (Current, Joint, Under 16s), subscription plans (Extra, Perks, Max), and daily money management tools. At Monzo, Product Marketing is a discipline focused on product-market fit, working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, and User Researchers to build superior products and propositions.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a leader within Core Banking, you will shape the strategy for a collective of 150 people, coach a team of product marketers, and lead critical individual projects. Your responsibilities include strengthening product-market fit across core products and guiding strategy for experimental ventures.

Your team will:

  • Identify Customer Needs: Partner with Research to define target segments, understand their needs, and analyze market offerings.
  • Define Winning Strategies: Determine how Monzo can best meet customer needs and translate this into a clear product strategy.
  • Shape Product Roadmaps: Collaborate with Product Management to define and build disruptive products that enhance Monzo’s product-market fit.
  • Position Products Effectively: Ensure products are noticed and understood, clearly articulating why Monzo's proposition is superior.
  • Determine Go-to-Market Strategy: Set launch timing and mechanics, balancing business needs with customer resonance.
  • Partner with Marketing: Equip the Marketing team with the necessary information and assets to market products disruptively.
  • Elevate Product Marketing: Set high quality standards, drive pace, and introduce new tools, processes, and best practices.
