Australia's National Research Organisation for Women's Safety (ANROWS) is entering a new phase of growth and evolution. This strategic and operational People and Culture position will help shape the culture behind Australia's leading research organisation focused on ending violence against women and children. The Head of People and Culture will help establish the foundations that will support the organisation into its next chapter.

Responsibilities

Lead ANROWS' People & Culture strategy and workforce planning.
Strengthen organisational culture, engagement, and leadership capability.
Partner with leaders through organisational change and transformation.
Build contemporary people systems, frameworks, and processes.
Lead employee and industrial relations matters.
Support workforce capability, retention, and succession planning.
Drive psychosocial safety, wellbeing, and trauma-informed practice.
Oversee organisational development initiatives, remuneration frameworks, and workforce planning.
Provide strategic workforce advice and insights to the Executive and Board.

Requirements

Significant experience in senior People & Culture or Human Resources leadership roles.
Strong expertise in organisational development, workforce planning, and change management.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks.
Experience building or strengthening people systems, frameworks, and processes.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Strong resilience, judgement, and emotional intelligence.
Experience supporting leaders through complex workforce and cultural challenges.
A collaborative, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach.
