✨ AI Insights & Summary

This role at complori offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the digital future for young minds by teaching coding, AI, and digital literacy. As a remote online tutor, you'll make a tangible impact on children's education while gaining valuable experience in teaching, curriculum delivery, and communication. The position is ideal for university students seeking flexible, part-time work that complements their studies, offers a competitive hourly wage, and provides a pathway for increased responsibility within an innovative ed-tech platform.

About complori

Complori ignites children's and teenagers' passion for programming, AI, and digital future topics. Instruction is delivered in small live online courses on complori – our platform for courses, mentoring, and tutoring.

Complori is offered by companies as a benefit for their employees: Parents receive an offering that truly benefits their children, and we reach children who would otherwise have no access to such opportunities.

You will turn a live online group session into an experience that children look forward to every week.

Your Responsibilities

  • Teach children and teenagers (7–16 years old) live online in small groups – from Scratch to Python, web development, and AI basics.
  • Conduct fixed weekly course slots over a period of 6–12 months (60 minutes each).
  • Utilize prepared teaching materials and lesson plans – no concept development required.
  • Provide individual guidance to children, offer feedback, and briefly document learning progress.
  • Contribute your observations from teaching to help us further develop materials and didactics.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled student (working student status), preferably in a STEM-related field from the 2nd semester onwards.
  • Proficiency in the fundamentals of at least one programming language – Python preferred; experience with Scratch, JavaScript, or Unity is a plus.
  • Enjoy working with children. Experience from tutoring, holiday camps, youth work, sports clubs, or music schools is explicitly welcome.
  • Available for at least 12 hours per week (max. 20 hours/week) within the timeframe of 4:00 PM–7:30 PM – and reliable throughout the entire course duration. Up to 20 hours per week are possible during the lecture period, and more upon request during semester breaks.
  • German language proficiency at C2 level.
  • Stable internet connection, a laptop with a camera and microphone, and a quiet, undisturbed workspace during course times.
  • Provide an extended police clearance certificate before your first course and sign our Code of Conduct for Child and Youth Protection.

What We Offer You

  • €15.00 gross per hour – onboarding, training, and 20 minutes of preparation/follow-up are compensated.
  • 20 days of paid vacation per calendar year (based on a 5-day week, prorated according to your hours).
  • 100% remote and flexibly planable: You decide before each course block how many courses you will take on.
  • Structured onboarding, didactic training, and a dedicated contact person in the coach team.
  • Ready-made course materials, lesson plans, and technical infrastructure – you can focus on teaching.
  • Small groups and motivated children whose parents have consciously chosen the offering.
  • A community of around 50 coaches: exchange and peer feedback.
  • Potential for more responsibility – e.g., as a Lead Coach, in onboarding new coaches, or in course development.
  • A job that pays off on your CV and in real life: You deepen your subject matter expertise and build presentation, moderation, and leadership skills.
