About the Role

Reporting to the Junior Associate Director, Business Process Outsourcing, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth insight into back-office operations from an Investment Manager's perspective by working closely with Investment Manager systems and teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and approving Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations performed by third-party administrators, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and resolving discrepancies.
• Calculating fund management and incentive fees in accordance with the fund’s legal structure.
• Reviewing Investor Reports before distribution.
• Providing general oversight of fund allocation, including investor distributions, capital calls, annual audited financial statement reviews, and handling ad hoc requests/inquiries from investors.
• Liaising with various departments to ensure accurate and timely fund maintenance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in fund accounting with a solid understanding of accounting concepts is an asset.
