About the Role
Join Anduril's growing recruiting team as a key member responsible for talent management. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with leaders and individual contributors to define and meet the company's hiring needs. You'll have the autonomy and resources to execute our strategy for building a world-class team. We seek a proactive individual who thrives on ownership, can tackle all aspects of recruiting, and is excited to contribute to a small, dynamic team where no task is too big or too small. This position will specifically focus on software recruiting for our Space Division.
What You'll Do
- Source, track, and manage a high volume of candidates efficiently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to influence talent strategy and achieve hiring goals.
- Establish a consistent operating rhythm with cross-functional stakeholders to support company growth.
- Deeply understand the product, market fit, technical roadmap, and culture of the teams you support.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's mission to effectively pitch opportunities and attract exceptional technical talent.
- Analyze pipeline and performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven recruiting strategies.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies that contribute to long-term company growth, including best practices for referrals and process improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools, including information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, process improvement, automation, and candidate management.
- Conduct candidate interviews, demonstrating an ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences to achieve high interview-to-offer ratios.
- Engage passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Boolean searches, and referral/SOBO campaigns.
- Ensure a consistently positive candidate experience through proactive communication and engagement throughout the recruiting process.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, with a focus on closing top-tier engineering talent (startup/software experience preferred).
- 4+ years of client interaction experience, including working with Hiring Managers and Directors, defining requirements, reviewing profiles, and updating pipeline progress.
- Experience acting in a consultative capacity, providing guidance that leads to improved outcomes and a positive candidate experience.
- Strong understanding of the technical skills and experience required for Engineering positions.
- Clear and effective communication skills to assess candidate motivation, drivers, and organizational fit.
- Experience managing multiple candidate funnels and tracking their progress through the recruitment lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS systems.
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
